Spring Tour 2024

The University of Chichester’s MA touring company is an established group of dynamic young dancers recruited nationally and internationally. Their diverse repertoire offers audiences a refreshing mixture of gritty dance-theatre, athletic and fast-paced choreography.  mapdance 2023 offered a varied set of exciting new works by renowned international contemporary choreographers, plus the revival of On Your Marks by Gary Clarke from 2020. The gratifying roster of new artists included Seeta Patel, Kay Crook (Chhaya Collective), and Luke Brown. 

For 2024, the company has commissioned new works by Yukiko Masui (SAY), Renaud Wiser and Carrie Whitaker (Lîla Dance) as well as re-staging Sarah Golding’s hugely popular work ‘STATE’. The mixed repertory offers a refreshing mixture of dance theatre, fast-paced athleticism intricate lyrical choreography and humour.
